貨物應具有防潮、防鏽蝕、防震並適合於遠洋運輸的包裝，由於貨物包裝不良而造成的貨物殘損、滅失應由賣負責。賣應在每個包裝箱上用不褪色的顏色標明尺碼、包裝箱號碼、毛重、淨重及“此端向上”、“防潮”、“小心輕放”等標記。
