Electrical Over Stress(EOS)-The exposure of an item to a current or voltage beyond its maximum ratings.EOS - 指一個IC材料受到超過其所能負荷的電壓,電流而遭受到破壞的狀態
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)-The transfer of electrostatic charge between bodies or surfaces at different electrostatic potential.ESD is a subset of EOS. ESD - 即靜電放電之意.指不同電位的二個物體之間產生的電荷急驟流動的現象.
