IE工業工程教材內容提要：
工業工程是對人員、物料、 設備、能源和信息所組成的集成係統， 進行設計、改善和設置的一門學科。它綜合運用數學、物理學、社會科學的專門知識、技術以及工程分析與設計的原理、方法，對由人、物料、設備、能源、信息組成的集成係統，進行規劃、設計、評價、改進（創新）的一門學科。
