8D報告填寫說明內容提要：
1.問題是什麼或目前真實的情況？根據對象和缺陷來陳述。
2.最早問題在哪裏發現的？
3.問題是如何發現的？
4.發生的問題與標準有什麼不同？規格是什麼？如何會產生不同的？（檢驗規範、圖紙、CATIA 文件、或不良極限樣品）
5.產生問題的項目如何測量的？測量係統是什麼？測量係統出了什麼問題？重複性？精度？
6.目前的情況會影響多少產品或汽車？（VIN 編號，影響到的工廠順序號或日期/時間和班次）
7.目前在戴姆勒克萊斯勒的工廠中發生率是多少？在供應商工廠內？良品數？不良品數？
This section must include all those actions, or reference to an action plan stating analysis to be conducted to identify and replicate, where necessary, the problem.
應包括所有的措施，或參考一個行動計劃，這個行動計劃列出了針對問題所需要進行的分析試驗，必要的話，應複製再現問題。
Different methods can be employed to identify the root cause - a simple and oftern effective way of identifiying the root cause is to ask WHY, WHY ... 5 times.
確定一個問題根源可以有很多不同的方法-一個簡單而有效的方法就是去問5次：為什麼，為什麼。。。。。
Following identification this section should include a statement of the root cause and state CLOSED in the target date box when this has been verified.
接下來這個部分必須包含對問題根源的陳述，以及當原因經過驗證確認後，在目標日期的方框中注明“關閉“
Verification is very important. It’s important to demonstrate a logical and analytical approach to verifying the root cause so the customer understands what steps have been taken to resolve the issue.
驗證非常重要。證明一個邏輯分析法能夠查出根本原因是很重要的，這樣客戶才能夠明白已經采取了哪些步驟來解決問題。
Examples:
例如：
- Physical verification: testing or showing that we can turn the problem on and off (this is the best verification)
- -實地查核：試驗或演示我們可以再現問題和解決問題（這是最好的查證）
- Logical verification using is/is-not, cause and effect, etc.
推理驗證，可以運用是或不是，原因以及後果等等
Additional sheets should be added to statye actions taken and draw conclusions from testes etc.
